Responsibilities
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in the principles and practice of physical therapy, including evaluation of patients, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical issues.
- Develop customized treatment plans, and knowledge of discharge criteria with the intention of returning patient to a functional and pain free life.
- Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
- Develop plans describing a treatment strategy, its purpose, and its anticipated outcome.
- Include exercise regimens at the clinic and at home to increase flexibility, strength, and/or endurance as needed.
- Demonstrate knowledge of current treatment modalities and procedures and their safe usage.
- Provide information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
- Help to restore physical function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent permanent disability.
- Determine patients’ ability to be independent and reintegrate into the workplace or community after injury or illness.
- Responsible for other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school (MPT or DPT)
- Current valid state Physical Therapies licensure
- Ability to work effectively as a team member with physicians, providers, and other staff.
- Ability to maintain thorough patient notes and suggest recommendations.
- Ability to communicate effectively and be an integral part of the team.
- Ability to maintain thorough patient notes and timely documentation.
- Ability to use good reasoning and judgment and react calmly in emergency situations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 - 30 pounds.

Pay
Salary Range: $75,000 - $105,000/year (DOE)
Schedule
Normal office and exam room environment.
Conditions
- Varied activities including standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting.
- This position requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Must be able to use a variety of office equipment.
- May require working under stressful conditions.
- Exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, and other conditions common to a clinical environment.
