Advanced Therapy Clinic provides ABA, ST, OT, PT, and Nutrition Therapy to children with a variety of disabilities or delays. We help clients and families in our centers, in homes, and in the community. Our goal is to bring PT and our other therapies to as many clients as possible. Our clinics are in multiple locations, and we are expanding rapidly but with careful attention to planning and resources. Client care is at the center of everything we do.

About the role

We are looking for a Physical Therapist to join our team and help support our clients with their needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and adolescents, be creative in their treatment plans, and have excellent communication skills. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing direct services to clients and providing feedback to families and other team members. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping others reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting assessments of clients and developing and following treatment plans.
  • Assessing home and school environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed.
  • Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
  • Educating caregivers and family members of clients on patient care.
  • Evaluating results and progress of physical therapy on clients.
  • Maintaining professional knowledge and the technical progress in order to provide clients and families with the best treatment program available.

Requirements

  • Fun and energetic, with a genuine interest in working with children and adolescents.
  • Patience and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently.
  • Flexibility and fluid with managing a caseload.

Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education Program.
  • Certified by the National Board for Certification.
  • Compliant with state healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs.
