Physical Therapist Assistant Workers' Compensation Specialty Evaluator

What You'll Do

• Perform worker’s compensation active peer review to monitor worker’s compensation progression, monitor documentation and assure all scripts are correct, monitor completion and delivery of weekly status report and monitor charges
• Perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and Work Conditioning Evaluations as needed
• Perform onsite services within the scope of each individual’s state licensure
• Verbally report significant information or changes in a patient’s condition to the appropriate therapist immediately
• Assist with the maintenance of patient medical records and maintain patient confidentiality
• Travel as required
• Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in accordance with an established treatment plan as directed by a Physical Therapist
• Progress patients skillfully and safely through the levels of treatment with the maximum capabilities of the patient. Consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding process and changes in patients' conditions
• Document all treatment and other pertinent patient interaction in accordance with CORA policies
• Assist with Workers' Compensation marketing
