As a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work alongside an experienced rehabilitation team to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence. What You'll Do Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical TherapistImplement individualized treatment plansProvide therapeutic exercises and functional activitiesAssist patients with improving strength, mobility, balance and enduranceMonitor patient responses and communicate changes to the supervising PTEducate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility and safetyComplete accurate and timely documentationCollaborate with nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary teamPromote patient safety and quality outcomes What We're Looking For Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programCurrent Michigan PTA license or eligibility for licensureStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate, patient-centered approachAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSkilled nursing, post-acute or geriatric experience is a plusNew graduates are welcome to apply!
