Physical Therapist Assistant PTA (PRN)

Summary of the Role

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care. Your duties will include assisting with patient evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and conducting physical therapy treatments.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapist with patient evaluations, assessments, and treatments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the Physical Therapist
• Congduct physical therapy treatments, including modalities, exercises, and other interventions
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area
• Meet productivity and quality standards established by the Physical Therapist

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant or related field
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Minimum of 0 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and other software systems
