Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN

About the role

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assessment of patients' functional status and develop treatment plans.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and strength.
• Administer treatments such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a certified PTA program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
