About the role
Provide compassionate, skilled care to patients in home health and inpatient rehabilitation settings. Assist licensed physical therapists in achieving patient goals through exercise and other interventions.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in performing therapeutic exercises and treatments
- Help patients perform daily living activities
- Monitor patients' progress and report changes to physical therapists
- Document patient care in medical records
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a state-approved PTA program
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
