Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Full-Time

About the role

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Assist patients in achieving their functional goals through therapeutic exercise, modalities, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in performing exercises and activities to improve strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology relevant to physical therapy.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and other medical software.

Pay

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience.
