About the role
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is responsible for assisting physical therapists in providing patient care. Duties include administering treatments, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in conducting evaluations and treatment sessions
- Administer treatments such as therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to physical therapists
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care activities and progress in medical records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program
- Current state licensure as a PTA
- Basic computer skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
