Physical Therapist Assistant / PTA - full-time

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient assessment
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Valid state license to practice as a PTA
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• At least one year of relevant work experience in a clinical setting

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in computer software used for patient documentation

Skills

• Excellent manual dexterity and strength
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercise principles
• Ability to handle stress and prioritize tasks effectively
