About the role

The role of a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) involves supporting physical therapists by implementing treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as heat or electrical stimulation. They observe and document patient responses, report progress and concerns, and provide instructions to patients and families to promote continued recovery at home. Requirements

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current state licensure or certification
• Preferred CPR certification
• Maintain current licensure
