We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide individualized physical therapy care in a skilled nursing community. Key Responsibilities Include Carrying out assessment, treatment, planning, and education to promote patient progress towards functional goals.Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to implement treatment plans.Evaluating patient needs, designing care plans, and adjusting interventions accordingly.Collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals and support staff.Documenting evaluations, treatment goals, and progress updates regularly.Providing leadership and guidance to support staff to achieve patient outcomes.Adhering to safety, infection control, and resident rights policies.Participating in professional development activities and staying current with industry standards. Qualifications Include Graduation from an APTA-approved physical therapy program.Current state license from the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.At least one year of experience as a physical therapy aide.Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and communicate effectively.Knowledge of caring for diverse age groups and physical/developmental needs.Strong decision-making, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
