About You

  • We're looking for a PTA who is passionate about patient care, orthopaedics, and rehabilitation.
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient therapy setting and finds purpose in helping patients get back to living their best lives.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program, Active Florida PTA license, Current CPR certification, Compassionate, patient-focused, and motivated to help people achieve their rehab goals, Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Preferred Experience (a Plus, Not Required): Outpatient orthopaedic or sports medicine therapy experience, Familiarity with WebPT or other EMR systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Play a key role in outpatient therapy, sports medicine, and physical rehabilitation.
  • Provide individualized patient treatments as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
  • Document each visit with treatment notes, progress updates, and patient assessments.
  • Instruct patients in exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and safe use of assistive devices.
  • Guide patients through gait training and mobility exercises.
  • Communicate patient status changes promptly to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Serve as a clinical instructor and mentor for PTA students.
  • Support the therapy team and clinic operations as needed.
