Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Job Duties

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Absorb and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
• Aid patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Communicate with patients about their treatment and document patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff for continuous communication.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of [State]
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited program
• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
