The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under the direction of the Physical Therapist, will primarily focus on direct patient care, planning, and implementing specific treatment programs tailored to individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles within the PAM Health System. The PTA will also contribute to the further development of services and must be flexible to meet the needs of multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of Physical Therapy services within the PAM Health System.
• Adapt to the needs of various facilities as required.

Requirements

• PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Pay

$55 per hour.
