The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), under the direction of the Physical Therapist, will be primarily responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy in the PAM Health System. The PTA will additionally be involved in the further development of the services and must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist
• Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients
• Contribute to the further development of Physical Therapy services within the PAM Health System
• Flexibly meet the needs of the system across multiple facilities

Requirements

• PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
• Current BLS certification
• One year of clinical experience preferred

Pay

$50 per hour
