Physical Therapist Assistant - Part-Time

About the role

Carolina Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient clinic team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Assist in the assessment and treatment of patients with various medical conditions using exercise and manual techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain a safe and clean clinic environment, adhering to infection control guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current South Carolina license or eligibility for licensure.
• Exercise and manual-based skills with experience in sports rehabilitation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for physical therapy and patient care.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.

Schedule

Hours vary based on clinic needs, typically Monday through Friday with some weekend availability.

Pay

$25-$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
