Physical Therapist Assistant Part-Time

About the role

Carolina Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to cover in our outpatient clinic. Ideal candidates are passionate about providing quality care and working in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Perform exercises and manual techniques to promote patient recovery and rehabilitation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment sessions
• Adapt treatments to meet the individual needs of each patient
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education

Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Exercise and manual-based skills with experience in sports rehabilitation
• Hold a current South Carolina license or be license eligible
• Show excellent patient care and communication skills
• Be able to multitask and provide an exceptional experience for patients
• Have a passion for physical therapy and patient care
• Be outgoing, energetic, and have a positive attitude

Schedule

Hours vary based on clinic needs, typically Monday through Friday with some weekend coverage.

Pay

$45-$55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
