Physical Therapist Assistant - Home Visits

About the role

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to perform patient treatments, exercise instruction, and education aimed at enhancing patient well-being within established care plans.

Responsibilities

• Following state-specific laws and supervising the Physical Therapist's treatment plan
• Instructing patients in exercises, gait, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training
• Monitoring and reporting patient responses and condition changes to the healthcare team
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques

Qualifications

• Current license, registration, or certification to practice physical therapy assistance in the state
• CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, or access to public transit
• Ability to work in diverse home environments and complete physical tasks such as lifting and mobility assistance
• Availability for weekend rotations

Compensation & benefits
