About the role

Physical Therapy Assistants provide high quality, comprehensive and patient-centered Physical Therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Administering therapeutic procedures according to the treatment plan
• Documentation and communication with physicians and other referral sources
• Handling and administration of medications according to legal guidelines
• Providing clinical guidance to non-licensed personnel
• Working with various healthcare team members to assure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills required
• Minimum License Requirement: California licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure as a PTA by the Physical Therapy Board of the California State Board of Health Professions
• BLS required
• Candidate will be cross-trained in both outpatient/inpatient; primary home location will be outpatient

Pay

Pay Range $28.14 - $42.21
