About the role

Supports mobile clinic patients by helping them understand, apply for, and maintain financial assistance, insurance coverage, and public benefits. Reduces financial barriers to care by providing on‑site navigation, education, and follow‑up support in community settings. Must be willing and able to travel to multiple sites.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in health navigation, social services, or benefits counseling preferred.
• Experience: Experience assisting individuals with public benefits, insurance enrollment, or financial navigation; strong communication skills and ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly; basic computer/data entry skills.
• License: None required.
• Preferred knowledge: Medi‑Cal, Covered California, CalFresh, SSI/SSDI, and local assistance programs.
• Language: Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Pay

Pay range: $23.00 – $34.50 per hour.
