Responsibilities
- Provide personalized physical therapy under the direction of a Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence.
- Implement patient-centered treatment plans designed to support recovery, safety, pain management, and long-term rehabilitation goals.
- Deliver hands-on therapy interventions that enhance movement, endurance and overall quality of life for adult and geriatric patients.
- Possess strong communication skills and be able to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and nursing staff to support strong patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs.
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or license eligible in the state of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation or senior living therapy.
- Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.
