Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

Provide high-quality patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Treat patients, address questions, and educate them on injuries, progress, and long-term wellness strategies. Supervise Techs during modalities (for all federal payers and non-BCBSM patients) and assist with setup and cleanup. Complete accurate, timely documentation for daily notes and discharges. Maintain productivity expectations (60 treatments in a 40 hour week in an outpatient ortho setting). Assist in developing and refining treatment protocols. Participate in clinic research studies.

Qualifications

• Affiliate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain).
