Physical Therapist Assistant
About the role
Join us as a Hospital Specialist and work across inpatient and outpatient settings—providing urgent inpatient care and orthopedic education for outpatients. No two days are the same. Grow your clinical skills, broaden your experience, and make a meaningful impact on diverse patients.
Responsibilities
- Maintain achievable established productivity standards
- Complete appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulations
- Provide medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint and bone diseases
- Restore patient function while relieving pain, with ambitions of avoiding disability
- Integrate Rehab Techs (support staff) in patient care plan
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant specific to the State of Kentucky
- Associate's degree or higher as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Current CPR certification or ability to attain this certification
Qualifications
- Experienced PTA’s and new graduates are welcome to apply!
- This is a wonderful opportunity to expand knowledge and experience in a clinical setting.
- We offer Weekend Rotation every 4th or 5th weekend, which are shorter in nature, as it is an Inpatient "check-in" and not a full shift.
- The location sees mostly orthopedics, back pain, cervical pain, geriatrics, and the occasional pediatric patients.
- This position has the opportunity for part-time or full-time, if you're open to working with our sister-hospital in Henderson, KY!
