Physical Therapist Assistant

Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists (PPTS), Southeastern Michigan’s premier private practice in sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation, is seeking a motivated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient PT services to patients in their homes. We have an immediate opening for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in performing therapeutic exercises and treatments
• Administer therapeutic modalities as prescribed by the therapist
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and insurance requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant from a nationally accredited program
• At least one year of relevant work experience in a clinical setting
• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols
• Passion for orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation

• Proficiency in using medical software and documentation systems
