Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

The successful candidate will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Responsibilities include assisting with therapeutic exercises, patient education, and maintaining patient records.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises
• Provide patient education on exercise techniques and home programs
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR certification
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Passing score on a background check

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance preferred
• Experience working in a healthcare setting is a plus
