About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
  • Assist in developing and implementing therapy programs tailored to patient needs.

  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Alaska.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
  • Passion for providing quality patient care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
  • Successfully completed a clinical rotation in a physical therapy setting.
