Job Summary

Engage Senior Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver compassionate care at assisted living facilities in Bedford, NH. This position provides direct patient care, transfers, and exercises under the supervision of physical therapists.

About the Role

Engage Senior Therapy is part of Fusion Physical Therapy Partners and offers on-site physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services to senior living communities in New England. The team focuses on helping patients maintain mobility, independence, and confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care, according to the therapist’s treatment plan.
  • Assist patients with walking, transferring, and dressing.
  • Conduct therapy practice within defined standards of care.
  • Communicate effectively with other professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards as required.
  • Deliver care at one or more assisted living locations, providing meaningful services to a diverse group of seniors.
  • Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies for maintaining functional independence and a better quality of life.
  • Document patient care services in compliance with state and facility standards using EMR.
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, in-service meetings, and workshops.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant license.
