Physical Therapist Assistant

About the role

The Physical Therapist Assistant will assist in providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include assisting patients with exercises, monitoring their progress, and documenting treatment sessions.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with exercises and activities of daily living
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising therapist
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment as needed
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately

Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to lift and move patients safely

Pay
