Physical Therapist - Acute Rehab

Role: Acute Rehab Physical Therapist in a physician-owned surgical hospital.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in an acute rehab setting to restore mobility, function, and independence.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Provide gait, balance, and therapeutic exercise interventions.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment and recovery processes.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in the EMR.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong clinical skills in rehab therapy, including gait and balance training.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
