About the role

Provides skilled physical therapy services in an acute care setting, including evaluation, treatment planning, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans considering discharge needs, equipment, and supplies.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making referrals as needed.
• Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students, ensuring appropriate skill levels.
• Completes documentation per departmental policies.
• Performs assessments, reassessments, and consultations for physical therapy services.
• Deliver patient-centered care, coordinate with healthcare teams, and ensure compliance with documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (PT) required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• No prior experience required; supervision experience is not necessary.
