Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, and medical conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to promote patient recovery and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and their caregivers about their condition and treatment plan.
- Document all care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- A current license to practice physical therapy in Arizona.
- At least one year of acute care physical therapy experience.
- Experience working with orthopedic, neurological, and medical conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Cerner electronic medical record system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in Cerner electronic medical record system.
