Physical Therapist - Acute Burn Care
Job Summary
As a Physical Therapist, you play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, restore mobility, and rebuild confidence following illness, injury, or surgery. Working closely with physicians and the care team, you’ll assess each patient’s needs and create personalized therapy plans designed around meaningful goals, active engagement, and exceptional patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (LPT)
- Licensed Physical Therapist
- Bachelor's Degree
What You Will Do
- Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team
- Deliver evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life
- Maintain progress, refine therapy plans, and ensure accurate, timely documentation of outcomes
- Educate patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions throughout recovery
- Lead by example—mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare’s values of excellence, compassion, and integrity
