Physical Therapist - Acute
About the Role
Under the direction of the Department Director and the Physical Therapy Supervisors, provides quality physical therapy services to patients through evaluation and administration of treatment to restore function and prevent disabilities. This position works in acute care performing evaluations and treatments. Experience is preferred but not required if the applicant has had an acute care rotation during student clinicals.
Expertise in vestibular rehab is a bonus for this position, but not required.
Schedule
The schedule will be determined at the time of hire but will fall between Monday through Friday with hours extending to 6 p.m. to support post-surgical volumes for same-day discharge. The role also includes a weekend rotation (2 weekend days per month) with a day off during the week. Required to work 1 holiday and 1 holiday weekend as part of the weekend rotation requirement.

Requirements
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (Required).
- PT (Physical Therapist) license (Required).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (Required).
