About the role

SSM Health DePaul Health Center is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join the rehabilitation team at its 450-bed hospital in Bridgeton, MO. The department participates in research and program advancement, emphasizing teamwork and individualized, compassionate patient care in a community-hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
• Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients.
• Design functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities.
• Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
• Perform other professional duties associated with patient care, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and design of program delivery.

Requirements

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
