Responsibilities
- Manages the Allied Universal Physical Security team members
- Works with the Physical Security Program Leader to develop long-term relationships with Cummins physical security partners and equipment manufacturers
- Ensures security technology and systems are adequately managed, controlled, vetted, and tested
- Oversees and manages the completion of security projects
- Supports, strategizes, and develops the Physical Security team under the Physical Security Program Leader
- Manages scheduling: Leverages AI-powered technology to effectively schedule security officers, meeting client contract hours while minimizing unbilled overtime
- Lead and Develop Security Teams: Hire, coach and manage security officers and supervisors while overseeing payroll, performance, and employee relations
- Enhance Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service that protects people and property
- Handle Security Incidents and Emergencies: Respond to escalated issues professionally, coordinating with clients and internal teams
- Direct Compliance and Security Operational Excellence: Oversee training, safety, and site operational standards as well as managing inventory (uniforms, equipment, and other essential supplies)
Qualifications
- Must have 21 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a challenging environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Quick learning ability coupled with a passion for taking on new projects.
- People skills with focused attention on customer need to deal effectively with all business contacts.
- Maintain a professional appearance and communication.
- Proficiency in computer software and technology, including Zoom and Microsoft Office applications and Teams.
- Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for remote work.
- Thrives in a remote work from home environment and has flexibility in schedule to work after hours.
- Background in security management and security system design and integration is preferred.
- Must have previous experience managing and working knowledge of enterprise level security systems.
- Must be able to attend and obtain certifications/training for the above systems.
- Must attend CPTED course.
- Must have an ASIS membership.
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree in Business Administration or a law enforcement-related field.
- Law enforcement, military, and/or contract or proprietary security services, or facility management experience.
- American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), International Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification.
- Previous payroll, billing, or scheduling experience.
- Aptitude with security systems: CCTV, access control, and badge administration.
- Graduate of certified public safety academy (e.g., Law Enforcement, Firefighter/Paramedic, Corrections Officer).
