About the role

This position is accountable for providing day-to-day medical care, rehabilitation team guidance, and medical leadership for inpatient rehabilitation unit. This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of inpatient rehabilitation management.

Responsibilities

• Supports all aspects of inpatient rehabilitation management
• Participates on relevant departmental and hospital committees as assigned
• Weekend (1 in 4) on-call rotation is required

Requirements

• Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• A current, active and unrestricted Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) license to practice in NY and current DEA License

Qualifications

• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred
• Experience in medical leadership preferred

• Strong clinical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Salary range: $235,000-$255,000. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.

Schedule

Weekend (1 in 4) on-call rotation is required.
