HIHCM Roseville Campus has a part-time (approximately 7 hours per week) opening for an elementary PE Teacher.
About the role
Applicants should be self-motivated, responsible, and reliable, with the ability to build rapport with students. Experience with children in a recreational, camp, or physical education setting is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate patience, the ability to maintain order and respect while fostering a fun environment, and possess core knowledge in physical fitness and sports skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan meaningful PE class periods for elementary students
- Teach a meaningful array of sports and game skills
- Teach basic physical fitness habits
- Manage a multi-age group of students
- Oversee sports equipment
Schedule
Hours expected to be on campus:
- Thursdays (first semester): 1:20 – 3:00 pm
- Wednesdays (all school year): 9:00 am – 1:45 pm
- Tuesdays (second semester): 1:20 – 3:00 pm
Pay
Compensation starts at $18 per hour, commensurate with experience and education. Parent barter for tuition is also an option.
