About the role

New Haven Public Schools seeks a Teacher- Physical Education & Health to teach Pre-K-12. The position is contingent upon degree and years of experience, with a salary range of $53,220 - $108,047.

Responsibilities

• Teach physical education and health classes to Pre-K-12 students
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units
• Participate in professional development activities

Requirements

• Physical Education certification required
• Health certification preferred
• Maintain certification as per Connecticut State Statutes
