Physical Education/Health Teacher, Itinerant (Home School location FAME)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive physical education and health curricula aligned with state standards.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote physical activity and healthy habits among students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education and health into the broader curriculum.
• Evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment conducive to learning.

Requirements

• Physical Education certification required.
• Health certification preferred.
• Experience working with pre-K-12 students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Education or related field preferred.
• Experience in teaching physical education and health.
• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Pay

The salary is contingent upon degree and years of experience, ranging from $53,220 to $108,047.
