Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12. As a Physical & Health Education Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. Please note: Not all campuses serve grades 4 and 5, and specific details will be shared during the interview process.

Responsibilities

  • Teach in a truly personalized way — one student or small group at a time.
  • Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs.
  • Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
  • Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture.
  • Keep student records accurate and organized.
  • Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Previous education or experience must include one, or a combination of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Physical Education
    • Minimum of 20 college credits in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology, and/or Physical Education
    • Expertise in the relevant subject area
    • Enrollment in a program for, or completion of, a Personal Trainer certification
    • Current CPR Certification
  • Ability and willingness to teach a wide variety of PE & health courses (athletic sports, dance, board sports, personal fitness, group classes, health), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
  • Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
  • Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
  • Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
  • Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.

Pay

Pay Range USD $35.12 - USD $35.12 /Hr.
