Physical and Health Education Teacher
Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12, where you’ll shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. Not all campuses serve grades 4 and 5; specific details will be shared during the interview process.
Responsibilities
- Teach in a truly personalized way—one student or small group at a time.
- Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs.
- Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
- Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture.
- Keep student records accurate and organized.
- Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Previous education or experience must include one, or a combination of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Physical Education
- Minimum of 20 college credits in Kinesiology, Anatomy, Physiology, and/or Physical Education
- Expertise in the relevant subject area
- Enrollment in a program for, or completion of, a Personal Trainer certification
- Current CPR Certification
- Ability and willingness to teach a wide variety of PE & health courses (athletic sports, dance, board sports, personal fitness, group classes, health), following content standards—curriculum and resources provided.
- Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
- Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
- Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
- Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.

Pay
USD $26.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.
