About the role
We are seeking PM&R providers to join a growing physician owned group at Post Acute Care facilities in the Colorado Springs, Pueblo and Canon City areas of southern Colorado. This is a Full time position may include Medical Directorship.
Responsibilities
- Maintains timely and appropriate documentation of medical care
- Participates in quality assurance, utilization management, and peer review programs
- Serves as a committed partner to the Practice's administration and staff
- Works collaboratively toward needed improvements
- Meets quality measures in provision of medical care
- Performs related administrative functions in the clinical setting
- Creates and maintains timely, appropriate, and confidential documentation and coding of patient care
- Supports practice budgetary targets
- Shares evening, weekend, and/or holiday call duties as stated in the Employment Agreement
Requirements
- BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, preferably in the Skilled Nursing/Post-Acute care and/or Hospitalist setting
- EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved school of medicine with licensure in the state where he/she practices
- LIC/CERT/REGISTRATION: Board Eligible/Board Certified by the appropriate certifying board
Qualifications
- Requires ability to work independently, understand complex situations, and make sound judgments
- Needs good eye/hand coordination, manual dexterity, and attentiveness to details
- Physical stamina required in most settings
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of post-acute care and rehabilitation
Benefits
We offer a comprehensive benefits package including base salary of $300,000.00 per year, bonuses, and full complement of benefits.
