Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work long event days (8–16 hours)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs. (event equipment, merchandise bins, staging materials)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in loud, dynamic and fast-paced environments
- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to shifting event needs
- HS Diploma or GED (required)
- Previous event dance industry experience preferred but not required

About the Role
OneBeat Dance Brands produces the most exciting, high-energy, innovative events in the dance industry. We are a growing family of brands dedicated to creating the best experience possible for our dancers, teachers, and attendees. Our brands currently include Beyond the Stars, Groove, Breakout, and Reverb! Collectively, we host over 200 regional dance competitions, 9 national finals, and 13 fall dance conventions per season.
Responsibilities
- Set up photo equipment
- Set up stage lighting
- Capture photos of every dance
- Photograph special moments that occur at our events, such as awards ceremonies and onstage celebrations
- Toggle between lighting cues for when a dance performs, in-between dances, and for award ceremonies
- Provide Content Producer with a list of standout entries for great social media photos
- Possess a basic understanding of shot composition, framing, and color balance to consistently capture visually compelling and well-balanced photos
- Break down photo and lighting equipment after the event has concluded
- Comply with all policies and procedures listed in the employee handbook
- Adhere to all other duties as assigned by event director or designee
