About the role
WXIX-TV, FOX19 NOW in Cincinnati is seeking a motivated Photographer/Editor to join its top-rated news team. The candidate must demonstrate competence in ENG cameras and video editing, gather news assignments independently or as part of a team, and maintain assigned camera gear. Responsibilities include operating ENG trucks, editing digital video, using bonded cellular Live broadcast devices (LiveU), posting video clips to the web, and driving a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Shoot and edit video as assigned
- Edit video for newscasts
- Gather and submit information and visuals for digital platforms
- Execute live shots using Microwave ENG and LiveU technology
- Contribute to the entire editorial process, including sourcing, enterprising, gathering, story construction, and presentation
- Post social media content on stories
Requirements
- College degree preferred
- One year of related news experience
- Proven ability to post content on social media platforms
- Flexible work hours; willingness to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, holidays, and weekends
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record
