The Photo Editor works with the other members of the Boot Barn creative team to edit Boot Barn’s photography assets for use throughout the Company’s website and marketing. Following each photo shoot, the Photo Editor is responsible for managing the photo organization process, photo editing, and color correction.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-volume image editing for use on e-commerce sites (retouching, color correction, color matching apparel, shaping, removing blemishes and wrinkles, etc.)
• Ensures ecommerce images are labeled, organized, stored, and archived appropriately upon editing completion
• Edits campaign and marketing images including editing to each brand’s established color and retouching standards for both print and digital
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of exporting and editing for both print and digital mediums
• Maintains consistency in image style and quality across all platforms and channels, including website and marketing materials
• Implements and follows efficient workflows to optimize the retouching process without compromising quality
• Completes all assignments on time
• Provides miscellaneous support to the overall Creative Department
• Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance, and appearance
• Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude, and teamwork with customers, peers, and management
• Adheres to all local, federal, and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices
• Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management
