About the role
WWL WUPL-TV New, the TEGNA-owned CBS/MNTV affiliate in New Orleans, is seeking a full-time Photography Editor.
Responsibilities
- Create captivating and shareable content for television, social media, and mobile platforms.
- Enhance stories with creative production techniques such as graphics and new forms of media (viewer pictures, webcam interviews, etc.).
- Work closely with news producers, reporters, photojournalists, and the digital team.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Knowledge of non-linear editing systems using Edius, Premiere, and Photoshop
- Interest in broadcast and digital news content
- Organizational skills and the ability to work under deadline pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Deadline-oriented, maintaining quality while staying on tight schedules
- Able to work early mornings, nights, and weekends
