Phlebotomy & X‑Ray Operator In‑Training

About the role

The Phlebotomy & X-Ray Operator In-Tainer position begins in a phlebotomy role with training provided if needed. It includes paid, Riverwood-sponsored training to become a Limited Scope X-Ray Operator over a 6–8 month period. Upon successful completion, the employee will perform X-ray procedures alongside phlebotomy responsibilities and receive a corresponding pay increase.

Responsibilities

• Aid in blood collection and diagnostic imaging services in the clinic
• Direct patient interaction
• Learn technical skills
• Follow safety, infection-control, and radiation-protection standards
• Work closely with clinical and imaging teams

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Reliable, dependable, and able to balance work and coursework
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Willingness to learn and comfortable with receiving coaching in a clinical environment
• Ability to work well in a team and support providers, staff, and patients
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn electronic medical records
• Commitment to completing the sponsored Limited Scope X-Ray Operator training and transitioning into a full-time Phlebotomist and Limited-Scope X-Ray Operator role
