Phlebotomy Technician I - 3rd Shift 100% - Downtown Campus

Duties

• Performs phlebotomy draws
• Performs computer data entry and other clerical tasks as required
• Orders, receives, and distributes supplies
• Responds to basic phlebotomy inquiries and otherwise represents assigned and related work areas

Requirements

• A career with University of Iowa Health Care
• Hours: Monday-Friday 2200-0630, rotating holidays
• Location: Iowa City, IA

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent
• Previous public contact/customer service experience
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program or previous phlebotomy experience
• Minimum six (6) months previous experience working in a healthcare setting
• Basic computer skills
• Previous experience with Personal Protective Equipment
• Previous patient contact experience
