Phlebotomy Tech - Lab - Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Processes specimens accurately (registers, orders tests, provides documentation, generates ABN forms) adhering to laboratory policies and procedures.
• Performs referred patient registrations when needed.
• Collections specimens (blood, urine, etc.) from all patients using proper techniques.
• Instructs patient in collection of urine and other clinical specimens with emphasis on proper technique and timing.
• Delivers patient specimens to appropriate departments or storage area.
• Maintains compliance with specimen requests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• ASPT certification is preferred.
• Two years of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Every other Saturday
